Getting to your gear is easy with the FullSwing. The hinged base swings a full 180° away from the hitch, even with all 4 bikes still on the rack. A spring-loaded pin locks it in the open position so you can use both hands to reach the cargo area. Once closed, a quick twist of the T-bolt locks everything tight again for the drive.

Each bike gets its own soft-padded cradle with adjustable positioning along the 25" arms. Two ZipStrips secure the top tube, and a third holds the seat post to stop bikes from rocking or bumping into each other. Because the ZipStrips lift out, you can slide bikes on and off without straps in the way. The cradles move on notched tracks, giving a custom fit for different frame sizes.

Set up is fast thanks to the tool-free SpeedKnob. Slide the 2" shank into your hitch, turn the knob until snug, and the internal wedge expands to remove play and noise. The built-in AutoPin clicks into place automatically so you don’t have to fumble with a separate hitch pin. When you’re done, press the thumb-release and the rack slides right out.

The FullSwing keeps everything locked down with Yakima’s Same Key System (SKS). A locking SpeedKnob secures the rack to the hitch, while an integrated cable threads through all your bike frames and stows neatly inside the arm when not in use. One key works for both locks, so you’re ready to go without extra gear.

When the ride’s over, pull the lever at the top of the mast and fold the arms flat. The rack’s footprint shrinks for easy parking or storage, and the mast can tilt down when unloaded to reach your cargo area. With a 150-lb total capacity (40 lbs per bike) and durable black powder-coated steel construction, the FullSwing handles family-sized outings without taking up space when you’re back home.

Aftr a year, I cant say I am a big fan of this rack. It is very difficult to get 4 bikes on it and the swing function has some give in it and makes for a challenging closure at times.

Still the best bike rack I’ve seen to date after a year. It’s heavy, but the functionality and quality is unmatched.
