Whats the difference between this etrailer hitch e89ZV and the CURT hitch C98DR for a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5? Im helping my son purchase and install a hitch on his new to him Hyundai. He primarily wants a hitch for transporting bikes. Thanks

Hello Peter,

I am going to let you in on a little secret but you can't tell anyone. Curt actually makes our etrailer hitches, so the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C98DR and our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e89ZV are the same hitch, the only difference is that the Curt comes in a glossy black finish and our etrailer comes in a matte black.

Either hitch will fit great on his 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 for a bike rack, personally I like our etrailer with the matte black finish, it really gives in that OEM look.

Sounds like a nice project to do togehter. My son just turned 18 and is getting into riding bikes, we will probably be putting a hitch on his car for the same reason. What kind of bikes does your son ride?
