on a 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 i see some trimming is needed of a panel. how much is required?

Just a portion of the bumper panel under your 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is needed to install the Curt hitch that fits, which is the following part number:

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C98DR

I added a cut out from the instructions which shows the amount, and as you can see it's just a 3-3/4" x 1-1/2" small section.
