What Do I Need To Get A 7 Pole Connection On My 2024 Honda Pilot?
Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 06/16/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2024 Honda Pilot Trailsport. The trailer has a 7 pole. Can I use the Curt C48ZV 4 pole to connect in my vehicle and then get an adapter to a 7 pole connection on my trailer?

Hey Keith,
The right wiring harness for your 2024 Pilot is the # C48ZV. This is a simple plug and play installation that would get you that 4 flat connection in the rear. I attached a installation video of this on a 2024 Pilot for you.
Since your trailer is a 7 way connection you are going to want to go with an adapter like # 37185. This is going to plug in to the 4 flat on the vehicle and allow you to have a 7 pole connection at the rear for your trailer to plug into. I have attached a installation video for this as well on a similar vehicle but it would require some splicing. This is what you will need to allow you to plug in and tow your trailer.
What kind of trailer are you pulling?

Hey Keith, Did the adapter and wiring harness setup work out for your trailer towing needs? I'm curious because it could help others who are setting up their towing connections too.
