Do I Need Additional Fuses for the Main Fuse Box on a 2024 Honda Pilot to Power a Wiring Harness?

Question:

Installing your C48ZV on my 2024 Honda Pilot. A comment on your website regarding this part says I need a 30 amp and 20 amp fuse installed also, IS THAT TRUE

Yes, it is! Honda and other manufacture's like to leave the fuses out of new vehicles that do not come with a functional towing package to save on costs. You can verify if you're missing the fuses by checking your fuse box but I am pretty sure they won't be there. I took a look at your owner's manual and you'll want to look at fuses 7 and 12 in your main fuse box.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C48ZV only comes with the fuse necessary to power the converter. You will need the fuses in the main fuse box to power the connection that it plugs into.
