Looking For Foot Plate For Round A-Frame Trailer Jack TJA-2000S-B

Published 06/11/2025

Question:

For this TJA-2000S-B, what is the hole size where the footplate mounts, and what footplates go with this? Do you offer them? Also, you list this jack as TJA-2001S-B and TJA-2000S. Which jack is this, and if there is a difference between the two, what are they, and do you offer both jacks? Thanks. Steve.

Hello Steve, thanks for reaching out. The Round A-Frame Trailer Jack will work with a 1-3/4" drop leg like part # JF-1005H-Z. This is a round foot and it has a few sets of holes for different height adjustment. It includes a pin and clip to hold it in place.

What kind of trailer do you have?

Jesse, I am looking at building my own trailer. Can you please tell me what the hole size is on the jack for the footplate, and what the distance is to the hole from the bottom of the outer tube? I forgot to ask that before. Thanks. Steve.

@Steve I went out to our warehouse and measured the jack. The pin hole I measured at 0.4". The tube is 2" OD 1.80" ID. From the center of the hole to the bottom of the tube is like 7/8". You could maybe call it 15/16". Just a hair under 1" for sure. I hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Jesse, etrailer lists the tube sizes as 2.25" outer and 2" inner on this TJA-2000S-B. Is this not correct? Thank you. Steve.

@Steve So that is referring to the outer tube, then separately we have the inner tube the foot would attach to. The outer tube has a 2-1/4" outer diameter. The inner tube has a 2" outer diameter. Hope that makes sense.
