Is Cutting Required When Installing The EcoHitch EH59CR On A 2023 VW Golf R Anniversary Edition?

I have a 2023 Volkswagen Golf r … anniversary edition… EH59CR says it fits my car. Is there a way to see the installation manual? Does it require cutting etc?

Hi Mari!
I can confirm the EcoHitch # EH59CR will fit your 2023 VW Golf R Anniversary Edition, but I do have to say that EcoHitch does not post their instructions online for some reason. I am sending you a separate email that has a link to what I was able to find and it should be what you are looking for.
As to your question about cutting, yes there will be. Since the hitch will sit behind the bumper, you will need to cut an access hole behind the license plate. I included a picture from the instructions showing that as well as one showing what it will look like when installed.
