Question:
I have a 2024 Chevy Malibu that I will be towing on a tow dolly behind a 2017 Melbourne motor home. I have a round receptical on the motor home for the electric brakes on the dolly. Would like to run Malibu lights while towing vehicle. What type of kit will tie into Malibu wiring and the tow dolly wiring?

Hello William,
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56387 that you were looking at is trailer wiring for if you want to pull a trailer with your Malibu.
In order to tie into your 2024 Chevrolet Malibu while it is on the tow dolly you will need a 7 way that also has a 4 way on the back of the coach. You will want to swap yours out for the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way to 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # C57672.
Then you will want to install the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 4-Way Flat Connectors # RM-154 in your 2024 Chevy Malibu.
I looked up the 2024 Chevy Malibu, according to my research I am showing that when your car is off and you push on the brakes that your brake lights will light up (you will want to confirm this), if it is true, then you will also need to install the # RM-88400 so that you brake lights work as they should.
I am showing that both your 2017 Melbourne motor home, and your 2024 Chevy Malibu have combined wiring, I attached an image of how the install will go for the # RM-154 since both are combined.
Got any big trips planned for when you get things all set-up? If so, where are you going to break in the tow dolly?
