This harness includes a powered converter that draws power straight from the vehicle battery instead of the lighting circuit. That protects sensitive factory wiring and ensures reliable power for your trailer lights. The hot lead must be connected directly to the battery—never to an accessory outlet—to keep your electrical system safe and performing as it should.
Once installed, the 4-flat connector gives you running lights, turn signals, and brake lights—everything needed for most small and mid-size trailers. It’s the same standard 4-way connection used on rental trailers, so it’s ready to hook up when you are.
