Will EcoHitch Hidden Hitch Fit 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE With Full Size Spare

Question:

EH35VR Will this fit a full size aluminum spare for a 2021 XLE? It looks like it will, but would be nice to see a photo for confirmation. My concern is the clearance between the spare tire and the bumper. I was able to push my spare all the way forward and hoist up and have around 2 of clearance. I can send a photo of the clearance I have.

Hey Chris! I can confirm that the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # EH35VR will fit your 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE with the full size spare. I don't have any photos but we have had other customers with the full size spare successfully install the hitch on their Highlander so we know it won't be an issue.

What do you plan on using the hitch for? Once you get it installed we would definitely appreciate a review with pictures of the full size spare so others can see it too!

@RobinH I was able to get it installed. The full size spare is an extremely tight fit between the rear sway bar and hitch. The tire on it has never been used though so if you had a slightly worn tire it would probably have more clearance.
