Hi Jeff; do you want to stick with a model that has a tank? If so, the best replacement is the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR. This has a 6 gallon tank, produces up to 12 gallons per hour, and fits cutouts measuring 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep.
If you would like to switch to a tankless water heater I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR92TD (16" x 18" Door) or # FR42TD (18" x 18" Door). This is capable of producing 144 gallons of hot water making it virtually endless. The Furrion fits a cutout measuring 12-3/4" to 12-13/16" wide x 12-5/8" to 12-3/4" tall x 23-1/2" deep so you will need to make sure you have enough space if you want to go this route.

Hi Jeff, did you decide to go with the Dometic water heater with the tank, or did you opt for the Furrion tankless model? I’d love to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others make a decision on their replacement.
