Note: For prolong usage, when exposed to higher water hardness concentrations, it is advised to provide a proper water treatment device for the incoming water to the coach. Hard water may lead to performance reduction of your appliance overtime.
Say goodbye to quick, military-style showers, refilling your tank, and waiting for the hot water to recover. This revolutionary design replaces your outdated tank heater and gives you the luxury of taking back-to-back showers, washing dishes, and running a load of laundry all at once. Unlike traditional tank heaters that require constant energy to keep your water hot, this tankless, propane-fueled water heater only uses energy when you turn on your faucet or shower, providing the ultimate efficiency at a campground or off-the-grid. The endless, on-demand hot water has no recovery time and is perfect if you're on the road full-time or traveling with a large group.
Has your warm and relaxing shower ever been interrupted by a cruel burst of ice-cold water? Perhaps you've been the victim of a scorching surge of hot water that scalds you and sends you dancing out of harm's way. Either way, it's the worst, but those days are over. Furrion's vortex technology is designed to eliminate those dreaded hot and cold water fluctuations by consistently mixing hot and cold water together to reach your desired temperature, ensuring those warm, comfortable showers.
This state-of-the-art technology is equipped with built-in safety measures to ensure you, your family, and your RV stay out of harm's way.
Its dual temperature sensors automatically shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 F, preventing the unit from overheating while also reducing the risk of hot water scalding. The unit also has a flame monitoring feature that cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out to prevent gas from leaking inside your RV and a built-in safety valve that allows pressure to vent at 87 psi to prevent excess pressure and heat build-up.
This tankless water heater features a control board to keep itself warm when temperatures drop. Freezing water can damage the unit, so an internal thermostat monitors water temperature and will turn the heat on automatically when it gets too cold. This feature will only work if the water heater is receiving power and gas. You will need to remember to winterize the water heater before storage over the winter.

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Furrion RV tankless gas water heater with the 18 inch by 18 inch door. Has a 60,000 BTU capacity. Now, this tankless water heater's gonna provide endless hot water on demand in your RV. It will include everything shown here on the table.
Includes the water heater, the black door that we've attached to the heater, comes with a wall thermostat, comes with a user's manual that'll describe how this all hooks up and how it operates. So basically, this is gonna give you 144 gallons of hot water per hour, which is perfect for full-time RVers or traveling with your family. Basically, it's gonna allow you to take showers, wash dishes, and do laundry simultaneously. So with this water heater, you're not gonna be caught without hot water again. It is an efficient LP gas power, which will save you money by only heating the water when you turn on the faucet or the shower.
Right down here, I flipped it around. I wanted to show you, here's your LP gas inlet. You just pop off that black plug, hook your LP gas right here. This'll heat up fast, and operate effortlessly in temperatures as low as 39 degrees. While we're back here, I wanna show you waterline connections.
The blue cap right here, if you remove that, that's your cold water inlet. Hook your cold water up to that. It's a 1/2 inch NPT fitting. And then over here, your red cap, that's your hot water outlet, you'll remove that cap and hook it up to a 1/2 inch NPT outlet. Now this portion right here, this is a Vortex system, and what this does, this will mix the hot and cold water and it eliminates fluctuations, reduces the risk of any hot water scalding.
We mentioned the wall thermostat, has a digital LEDs on it, lets you adjust the water temperature by degree, and the alarm will beep to alert you of any malfunction, and it'll also display an error code to let you know what that malfunction is. Now, the black door that comes with this, it uses a spring-loaded latch, helps you remove the door easily for cleaning and maintenance. And how you'll do that is right here, you'll see this latch. So you just flip the latch up, turn it 90 degrees, and that'll release the door. You can see, the door will open up a partial way. You can keep it like that. Or, if you want to gain full access, just take it off the two pins at the bottom, and now you have full access to the inside. Now, they do offer internal safety features, which will automatically activate to protect you, your family, and your RV. Basically, what those features do, it'll shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 degrees Fahrenheit, it will cut off the gas if a flame goes out, prevents the gas from leaking inside your RV, and it also allow the pressure to vent at 87 PSI, which prevents excess pressure and heat buildup. Now, it does use an antifreeze control board. This will turn the heat on automatically to prevent damage when temperatures drop overnight. But you still need to remember to winterize your auto heater before storage over the winter. The technology when they build this uses vibration smart technology. What that does, it'll help resist intense shock and vibration during travel. Now, this is a very easy installation. Let me just go ahead and put the door back on and show you. You just drop it back onto those two pins at the bottom there. Push it in, pull this out. It's spring loaded, pull it out, turn it, and then flip it down. It'll hold the door in place just like that. It's very easy installation. It is designed to fit most existing water heater compartments. You'll use your existing gas and plumbing lines. Now, the mounting hardware to install this is not included. A few dimensions I wanna give you is first, will do the door. So the access door is gonna be 18 and 1/8 inches wide, 18 and 1/8 inches tall. The dimensions on just the heater, the width on just the heater is, let's flip it around this way, there we go. 12 and 5/8 inches this way, height, 12 and 5/8 inches tall, and total depth, which will be measured from the front to the very back here for this back, 19 and 1/4 inches deep. Few specs on this, 12 volt DC voltage, automatic pilot ignition, heating capacity, again is 13,000 to 60,000 BTU. The temperature settings used on this, the setting ranges anywheres from 95 degrees Fahrenheit to 124 degrees Fahrenheit. Default setting is 115 Fahrenheit. Shut-off 149 degrees Fahrenheit. Total weight on this unit is only about 28 pounds.
