Hey Garvin,

The flush ball unfortunately isn't offered separately so it's not a replaceable part. Is water leaking from the bowl through the seal down the drain? When you replaced the seal on your Dometic 310 series RV toilet did you use part # DOM63FR (Dometic part #385311658)? Dometic has multiple seals that are all pretty similar but differ slightly for their specific model fit so it's possible that you could've used the wrong seal and it fit enough to go on but not enough for a proper seal. It's also important to use some silicone faucet grease on the top and throughout the groove in the seal that mounts it to the toilet to help the seal suction to bowl for a tighter seal.

I will say that this is a super common issue with certain Dometic toilet series and my Dad has the same issue with his as well so you're not alone here.

Thank you for the expert advice. I did use 385311658. It was a Dometic pkg with instructions. The instructions did not mention to lube the groove. I did have success by putting a quart of hot tap water in toilet with the ball closed. Let it stand until the water cools. I have flushed the toilet apx 10 times over 2 days and it's holding water now. I forgot where on the Internet I got that tip, but I think it was Dometic. It's working so far. Thanks again. Garvin

@Garvin The heat must cause the seal to expand and get a better seal against the bowl. I hadn't heard of that tip before and I haven't gotten around to fixing my dad's trailer's toilet so I'll give it a try and as well. The grease essentially just fills any gap between the seal and bowl so the that the water can't slip through.
