Hi, Im going to buy your 2 hitch e98912 for my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Do you know the names of any good installers in the Boise, Idaho area? Thanks.

Hello Chris, thanks for reaching out. The etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e98912 is correct for your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek.

We do have installers in your area. I recommend checking with either Two Tails LLC, or Bartons Hitch and Trailer, both of which are there in Boise. Both shops have experience with trailer hitch installs.

What do you plan to use the hitch for? Are you towing a trailer? Or carrying a few bikes?

Thanks, Jesse. I will be taking 2 or 3 bikes. I already have a Kuat bike rack which fits the 2" hitch on my 4Runner which is why I wanted another 2" hitch for the Crosstrek. Do you have a recommendation for another 2" hitch for the Crosstrek which would be better for bikes on that car for some reason? thanks.

@Chris Nice! I also use a Kuat rack, the NV 2.0, as my personal rack and I love it. If you also happen to have the NV 2.0, there is actually a 2-bike add-on part # BA02B and this would definitely be your best option for carrying more than two bikes. Or if you want to upgrade to a 3-bike rack, the Thule Epos # TH69XE is what I recommend. For the hitch I still would recommend the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e98912. The 525 lb tongue weight rating will be more than enough and it is priced lower than any other comparable hitch. Which Kuat rack do you have currently? How do you like it?
