Question:
Good afternoon. I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado that I need to install a 7 pin and 4 pin trailer connectors to and brake controller. The truck did not come with either from the factory. Can you tell me what kit or kits I would need?

Hello Andy, thanks for reaching out. We can provide the parts you need to install a 4-pin and 7-way on your 2011 Chevy Silverado without any factory wiring. Here is what you will need:
- Curt 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector with Circuit Protected Powered Tail Light Converter # C56496
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7
Those two kits combined will contain everything you need to add the 4-flat and 7-way including all of the necessary wires for a brake controller. For that, I recommend the Tekonsha P3 # 90195.
Take a look at the install videos I linked for you below. Please leave a reply below and let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hey Andy, did the installation of the trailer connectors and brake controller on your Chevy Silverado go smoothly with the kits I recommended? I'd love to hear how it worked out for you, as it could help others looking to do the same setup.
