Hello Matt, thanks for reaching out. Does your 2018 Wrangler JL already have a 7-way trailer plug on the back. Not quite sure what the "half tow package" would include but if you don't already have a 7-way or 4-flat, you will need the Curt T-Connector # 56407 and the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to complete your wiring.
Then for the brake controller, the Redarc # RED85CR is what you will need. This comes with all of the necessary wiring, mounting panel and pigtail for your Wrangler.

Hey Matt, did you have a chance to check if your Wrangler already has a 7-way trailer plug? I’d love to hear how the installation went, as it could help others with similar setups.
