Which Curt Helux Pin Box for Cougar 260MLE with Pin Weight of 1,900 lb

Question:
Hello, Trying to make best choice in weight range for this new hitch. I have a Cougar 260mle with an empty king pin weight of 1900lbs. I cant imagine ever adding another 1000lbs to that empty weight in the front of my 5th wheel and need to move to the next weight rating of these Helix hitches? Is there any recommendations that you can make in helping make sure I pick the right weight range for this new hitch. We never travel with fluid in any tanks and I am very careful with adding heavy items to our load. Thank you in advance for any input. Sincerely, Greg Thorne

Hey Greg, based on the weights you mentioned the Curt Helux part # C25MJ would be your best option as it has a pin weight range up to 2,600 lbs which would better match your Cougar 260MLE.
