Will this work with my 2015 gmc 2500 duramax with bnw turnover gooseneck ball with 6 1/2 bed?

Hey Trenton, yes the Demco Recon gooseneck to fifth wheel adapter part # DM8550045 that you referenced does work with the B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch ball that you have installed in the bed of your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed.

Thank you for the reply. Just one more question. Do you know if there is enough of an offset to help with turning and the front of my 5th wheel hitting the cab? Or is that curt crosswing lightweight 20k better for turning with my short bed?

@TrentonM The adapter itself does not offer any additional offset beyond what the fifth wheel pin box it replaces offers. These are just adapters and not designed to help out with short bed turning clearance. What fifth wheel do you have I can look up the nose of it and see if it has a tapered nose or not. The Curt Crosswing part # C32DR does have an offset of 9 inches so it is going to do the best in terms of offering better turning clearance.

@JamesonC thank you so much for the info and fast responses. I’m going to order my hitch from you guys. I think I’m going to go with the Curt crosswing lightweight 21k adapter to 5th wheel. I have a 2015 forest river Cardinal 3450. It’s 40’8”.

@TrentonM I looked up the nose of your Cardinal and it does have a pretty nice taper to it so you should be fine with a fixed hitch. Especially since your short bed truck is on the "longer" side of the short bed spectrum.
