Can Furrion Thermostat Be Left On Dry Setting
Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 04/20/2025 >
Question:
Is it OK to leave my Furon AC setting on dry? I’m concerned because I set the thermostat to 75 but when I go into the trailer, it is 60° on dry. What’s the best setting for a Furon thermostat so that it doesn’t get that cold in there but I also don’t wanna run up my power bill when we’re not using it.

Hi Linda, you can run it on dry. When it is on dry mode the compressor runs continuously when the temperature is higher than the set point. The compressor will cycle on for 10 minutes and off for 6 minutes when the room temp is lower than the set point. The fan speed runs continuously at low speed when it is on dry mode. I would say if you want to keep some air flow and keep power down fan mode on low is the best bet.
