Question:

Hello. I’m looking to buy 2 17.5” Lionshead Bearcat wheels in silver to match the six I currently have. I see you have the 16” in gunmetal but can’t find silver 17.5”. Are these available? Thank you.

Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. Sadly, we do not offer the Lionshead Bearcat wheel in a 17.5". Right now the only silver 17.5" aluminum wheels we offer are the Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel # LI44FR and the Aluminum Trinity Series Trailer Wheel # TA24XR.

If you reach out directly to Lionshead they might be able to tell you how/where to get the Bearcat 17.5". Otherwise the only solution we can offer would be something similar.

Thanks for the reply. I have reached out to Lionshead a couple days ago with no reply. Would there be a steel option? This would be for a spare. My axles have 1/2” studs. I believe wheels with 9/16” lug holes would work as well? Thanks. Brian

@BrianJ We do have some steel options like the Taskmaster Modular Wheel # TA35ZR. This wheel is for 5/8" studs so this would not work with 1/2" studs. it would destroy the wheel studs and possibly the wheel. A 17-1/2" wheel for 1/2" studs would be pretty irregular. Most RVs that use larger tires use larger wheel studs as well.
