The right part and the right price.
the product was delivered in a timely manor but the packaging was horrible. The unit weighed 120 pounds and was in a box way to big and was allowed to move around quite a bit. The box was badly torn up and taped back together but there were no instructions or paperwork with it. As a result of the excessive movement one of the hydraulic lines was damaged and I had to get it made at a local shop.
Terrible packaging, looks like some one kicked it 150 times and then threw it out the truck onto my driveway. Also the reservoir for the hydraulic oil was leaking and I noticed the self tap screw made a hole in the reservoir when they installed the front metal cover. We’ll see if customer service will do anything about it.
BEWARE! I will never buy a trailer jack from E-Trailer again!
E-trailers refuses to ship this on a pallet so that it arrives safely. Instead, they put it in a thin-walled cardboard box. It IS possible to deliver such a package safely, but your jack WILL ARRIVED DAMAGED.
UPS will purposefully drop the box at least once on EACH end from a height of at least 4', then have someone staple the h3ll out of it, then wrap it with about a mile of flimsy packaging tape and then finally deliver it.
I ordered this jack (which I still think is a good product) but it arrived in a package that was all but destroyed and then haphazardly re-taped & stapled. I sent ETrailer photos & they agreed the damage occurred during shipping.
They provided me a return shipping label for UPS but I had to deliver it to a UPS store for shipment since you're not allowed to schedule a pickup at your house for products this heavy. ETrailer refused to send me a new box in which I could return the jack. First I had to put the box back together (because they'd stapled over all the joints), place the jack inside and tape it shut. I was told "Just do the best you can".
ETrailer agreed to replace the damaged jack and sent another one. The second one arrived with even MORE damage than the first!
I tried to work with them to arrange shipment on a pallet. They refused. I offered to drive 600 miles to pick it up myself. They refused.
The customer service people were very courteous and understanding, but the Shipping manager refused to accommodate me.
The packaging provided is NOT adequate and jacks like this should NEVER be shipped GROUND.
If you order this jack you will have regrets.

Had to order this one due to the one iniatially ordered was on backorder. Holy duct tape, package tape, and copper staples to hold whats left of the cardboard. Could've dropped it out of a plane here and be in better shape. Even the box inside that had the control is smashed. Mustve found it in the garbage and shipped it. Not sure if everything is in there, if its bent or even works yet.
Did not have the manual backup as described in description. First two sent was damaged in shipping. They were very easy to deal with on replacements.
First Jack looked like they drug it down the road,Made a call and a second jack was sent out and had a box with it and looked great,got install with no problems.
ETrailer is the best. I had a issue with the controller arriving broke from shipping. I made a frantic call late Friday afternoon to ETrailer and had a new controller Monday and on time for me to use the leg. THANKS
