Question:
Will a Curt P/N C11117 receiver hitch fit a 2001 Camaro Z-28 with dual exhaust? I see contradictory info on your website. Are any modifications required?

Yes, it will Craig! I checked with Curt and their item # C11117 will fit a 2001 Z-28 with dual exhaust. We had a customer install this hitch on one and I have attached a couple pictures below that he sent in. The only modification required is a couple of holes drilled into the frame rails. I have linked the installation instructions below so you can see this step.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C59236 and a ball mount kit item # e47DR.
I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
If you have any additional questions feel free to throw them into the comment box below.

Hey Craig, how did the Curt hitch fit on your Camaro with the dual exhaust? I’m curious if drilling the frame rails went smoothly. Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same setup.
