Hello John, thanks for reaching out. The TRD Pro skid plate on your 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro would need to either be completely removed, or heavily modified in order to install the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch # EH49CR. The skid plate sits right where the hitch would need to go, so I am afraid there is no way around this.

Out of the two front mount hitches for your 2019 Toyota Tacoma the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver item #C31075 is the best option for your application. It does require trimming of the front fascia and the skid guard if your model has one.
