18 Taco needs front hitch. I have the skid plate which I want to keep on the truck. base, not the trd.

The front-mount hitch that best meets your requirements is the Draw-Tite # 65070.

This will allow you to re-install your skid shield after you bolt on the hitch. I recommend this model also because it offers a higher vertical load capacity of 500-lbs, as compared to the Curt # C31075 which is rated for only 350-lbs. The no-drill installation is shown in the linked video and the clean appearance after installation can be seen in the included photo.
