Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick Behind a Motor Home

Question:

Will part 118-1 work on a 1994 suzuki sidekick 2wd 2dr with no skid plate? and which tow bar will work with this part? thank You

Yes, Roadmaster base plates # 118-1 will fit your 1994 Suzuki Sidekick 2-door. All of the Roadmaster tow bars are compatible with these base plates. For an economical tow bar I recommend the Tracker # RM-020. For safety cables use # RM-643.

For lighting, if your Sidekick has a metal roof, I recommend magnetic light kit # RM-2120. If it does not have a metal roof you can still use the magnetic light kit but you will also need magnetic tow light partners # TLP01.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system # RM-9400. It will apply the Sidekick brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
