Hello Dan, thanks for reaching out. The Curt T-connectors like part # C55312 are made in China. Curt still makes their trailer hitches here in the USA, but their wiring is made overseas. Don't let this discourage you from buying one though. The Curt wiring harnesses are one of the most durable on the market.
I see that you were looking at parts for a 1997 Chevy S-10. If so, the correct wiring harness for you in the Curt # C55312. This will plug directly into the OEM wiring connection.
