Hey Dan, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can absolutely store skis or snowboards in the Thule Force 3 M Rooftop Cargo Box # TH47SA. It can hold up to 7 pairs of skis or up to 5 snowboards. The maximum ski length is 215 cm or about 84.6".
