Question:
Hello, I have a 2018 ford f150 with factory 4 pin trailer connector. I would like to upgrade to a 7 pin with added 2 axle trailer brake. I am attempting to avoid cutting any wires if possible. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Hey Cory! To avoid any splicing you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118283. This plugs into your factory wiring behind your bumper for a simple installation. Check out the attached picture. Once your 7-way is installed you will be able to use a brake controller like the # TK75BR you were looking at.
If you find that you don't have power running to the brake controller port under the dash you will also need the # BRK-ELECKIT. I attached some installation videos below for your reference. If you need anything else don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Cory, how did the upgrade to the 7-way wiring harness on your F-150 turn out? Were you able to get the brake controller working without having to cut any wires? Your update could make it easier for others doing the same upgrade.
