Great question, and I understand your concern when it comes to clearance. Yes, you can install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1012 in the bed of your 2015 Silverado 2500 6 3/4' bed. To get the extra clearance for your short bed you will also want to get the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085 which will give you a 4" offset resulting in the extra clearance needed for the standard bed. Hey Stanley, how did the clearance work out with the Turnoverball hitch and the 4" offset ball on your Silverado when towing your horse trailer? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar rig.
