Does Your etrailer Jack have Auto Stop so it Doesn't Over Extend so the Gears Don't get Damaged?

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/12/2025

Question:

Does this jack have an auto stop function at the top and the bottom of the travel so the gearing wont be damaged? We have a 2020 Airstream Flying Cloud front bed twin. The gearing is damaged on our current jack. Thanks.

Hello Wesley,

Yes, our etrailer jack # e55ZV does automatically stop and will not over extend. If you check out the video that I attached you will see that jack stop at the top while Steven still has his finger pushing down on the button. Not only does it have the auto stop, but it is also the only jack that we carry that has a limited lifetime warranty!

Any fun trips planned in your Airstream this year?

Hey Wesley, how did the etrailer jack with the auto stop work out on your Airstream? Did it solve the issue with the damaged gearing you mentioned? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same problem.
