Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Furrion die-cast grate for your range cooktop in your RV. This is going to be a quick and easy way to upgrade the look and the functionality of your RV's kitchen. So this isn't obviously something you would do while camping but just to kind of give you an idea, I'm going to just lift this up and you can see pots definitely sliding pretty easily on this end. When you have hot water or anything in here that you're cooking, you don't want that sliding around and potentially causing a mess or getting hurt from it.
Now doing the same test on our new die-cast here, you can see it's actually holding onto it. It's got quite a bit of grip. In fact, I can continue to lift this and it's still holding that pot in place. So as you can see quite a bit higher, so it does a great job of making sure that they stay in place. And it actually has a little bit of grip there just to kind of give it that friction.
And that's really what you want when you have something that's hot on the stove. Now you can see this kitchen has actually been updated and it really has a nice modern kind of farmhouse look to it, but that kind of grate just looks pretty basic. This gives it a really nice homey feel. It really makes it look a little more upscale on our stove top here. And also you get that added benefit of the pots actually staying in place.
Now, this is going to be a direct replacement for your 3-burner Furrion oven ranges but you can actually put this on a bunch of different ones. In fact, we have an Atwood here that it fits onto. And this is a really popular upgrade for a lot of you Airstream owners that have the dometic. It's they have a very similar wire style as we had on here previous. And a lot of people we're having the same issue with their pots and pans moving around, this just drops into place.
It's quick and easy. It makes it look good. And the functionality is absolutely there. So you can see it's a two piece design here. This front burner is going to be a little bit larger. In fact, you can see I stack it here. It's got about an inch difference. So let's get some width measurements first as these are going to be the same. This is coming in right at about 19 inches, our front burner here. This grate is eight and a quarter. And our back one here is right at seven. So that's going to total for 15 and a quarter overall on your length there. Now I am going to show you here it does have this four pin design per burner and that's going to be that direct replacement for the Furrion. And some of your other stoves with that wire rack is going to have a rubber grommet here in each corner. So you may say, well, it's not putting, it's not plugging into there. How do I know that it's going to stay in place Well, once these are in place I'm actually putting a decent amount of pressure pulling it back towards me. It's not going to fall off, it stays in place. Now, obviously, if you lift it up, it will but just having pressure alone and the gravity holding it there, it's not going to come loose. So you can tell that it looks great and whenever you're done cooking and it's cooled down our neighbor here actually has a wood block here to put as a cover. And that looks great as well. And it's also definitely not sliding off. And that was a look at the Furrion die-cast range grates for your oven cooktop..
Airstream 2022 Globetrotter FBT: The grate is a little pricey, but etrailer had the best price and service. I couldn’t be happier, it’s a great upgrade and looks like a residential stove top (which is way better than the flimsy factory burner covers). We’ve been using it for a year and no issues. It still looks new. (Picture attached is after 1 year that included 3+ months of consistent use)
Quality feels solid and fits my Airstream domestic stove very well. It's a little snug/tricky to get it in/out around the screws that stick out a bit on the sides of the stove to clean, but looks great and is worth the trade-off.
Almost perfect fit in my 2018 airstream classic. The grates fit perfect but the cut out for the front burner is a little off. That won't affect use.

I love my new grates! I never liked the original set up because besides looking cheap they were not very functional, pans would easily become unstable on the little burner. Now it’s as if I have more counter space and don’t have to worry about pan being wobbly or uneven. Thank you!

I’m so glad I bought the grates. My cooktop is much more functional and I think it is more aesthetically pleasing.
The grates fit well and the glass top has room to fold down. I need to mark and drill eight holes in the cook top for the feet on the bottom of the grates to set into. This will stop the grates from moving at all while moving the Airstream from place to place.

Fits perfectly my Dometic cooktop, in a 2020 Airstream globetrotter. I simply removed the 3 wire pot/pan holders and slide the 2 grates in. Took less than a minute. Took more time to get them out of the nicely packaged box. Love it!
Great product and works well in our Airstream as a replacement for the 3 little wire covers they come with. No more tipping pots and pans.
We recently purchased a Globetrotter 25’ FBT …Game Changer !!! Paula is amazing . I actually received my order next day with standard shipping . Take off those cheap factory burner covers and replace them with these fantastic Did-Cast Grates . They just slide in place . Not sure why some reviewers mention taking screws out . It took my husband just a few minutes! Perfect Fit !

The grills are a perfect fit in my 2020 Globetrotter camper! The fit and finish are just what we wanted on our stove top. Service was easy and fast as grill top arrived packaged to survive.
Finally found a grill top that actually fits perfectly and performs as advertised. The OEM was a constant headache, very slippery surface, cheaply made. This new grill is fantastic, thank you for having it available. A very happy camper
This is what should of been factory installed instead of the cheap junk that was in it. 2021 nitro 321.This is much heavier and better quality. Fit perfectly and order arrived promptly.4Star instead of 5 because, I Feel This is a little heavy on price for what it is, not etrailers fault they had best price on the web!Even received a follow up notification after the sale. Fits my range top in my 2021 Airstream GT 23 FTB like it was custom made for it. Beautiful upgrade over the crappy original burner covers. I can’t believe how good it looks.

etrailer’s Furrion range grate fits the Dometic brand range that came with our 2016 Airstream Classic. The fit was so good that I needed to temporarily remove one screw to slide the front half of the new grate in. Then I put the screw back assuring a secure fit. Finally, there turned out to be a open screw hole at the front of the grate that upon inserting a screw (I supplied), allowed me to make sure the grate wouldn’t move. Perfect! I highly recommend this much, much needed improvement to the Dometic range that comes standard with the Airstream Classic! Btw, the glass top closes as if made for the Furrion grate.

Great. Love it!
I like the fit much better then the original grill that was in our Cougar camper. It's more solid as the grill bars are solid pieces instead of U shaped bars with hollow insides. I'm hoping the warp factor when it gets heated won't be a problem with this two piece grill.
I purchased these stove grates as a replacement for the OEM grates in our 2024 Airstream Globetrotter 25fbt. The fit is perfect, the glass cover also fits perfectly and I can tell we won't have pans sliding or tipping with these grates.

and spoke with Jaime B. at etrailer, she apologized set up a service ticket to
correct the problem, I received a pre-paid return label, sent the item back and received the replacement shortly after. all in all a totally pleasant and painless process. The product fits perfectly. I will definitely recommend etrailer.

1 year later and there are no issues. Works way better than the original grate.
Although it’s not made for the Dometic stove, it fits perfect. So much better than the 3 metal rings that were there. The glass closes without a problem. 30’ airstream globetrotter
We purchased to replace original wire grates on our 2023 Airstream cooktop. The fit is excellent and we look forward to using the additional working space it provides Fits under the cooktop cover as well. Only concern is the working surface is very rough. Much more so than original or replacement iron grates recently purchased for our home gas cooktop. We anticipate this scratching the bottom surfaces of our cookware but won't know until we use it on our next trip.
I had ordered a new grate (a suburban) and it did not fit and after adjustments it still did not fit well enough. I debated about this one and finally decided it was worth a try. I don’t like to return items so there was a moment of hesitation. 250% EXTREMELY satisfied, it was a perfect fit and took about 10 seconds to install in my 2016 Airstream Classic. Super fit. I’m loving my experience and choice.

This was a huge upgrade for our Dometic CU-434 range top. The little wire grates now live in the trash bin. Why you would not put a full size grate on doesn't make sense. Your pots and pans had minimal support but with this Furrion full coverage grate it is not an issue and it fit perfectly, not mods needed and the flush cover closes all the way. Who ever discovered this fix for the CU-434, Thank you!!

Excellent, I see our model CU-434 is now discontinued, hope the new model has full size burner grates.
Ordered from Canada and the package came within 4-5 days. One of the grates was broken, but Amy from etrailer sent a replacement immediately and followed up to ensure I received it. Fantastic customer service!

Service and product was great! Installed in our 2020 Classic Airstream. Perfect fit! If you have the factory cooktop I would definitely recommend changing to these new grates because the cookware will be very stable and safer while cooking. Wife loves them!
We absolutely love our Furrion Range Grate for our Airstream. It fit perfectly and is so much easier to cook on.
Installed these on my 2023 Airstream Globetrotter 25FBT with Furrion stove top. Replaced my terrible OE grates from Furrion. These cast iron grates are a beautiful and functional addition to my camper.
