Hello Michael,

Great question. If you want to go with a Roadmaster Base Plate on your 2010 Scion xB you will want the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 1187-3A. Then in order to use your Demco Commander Tow Bar you will also need the Universal Triple-Lug Tow Bar Adapter for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # RM62ZR. I included an image for you to take a look at just to make sure your tow bar has the right connectors on them, sometime there will be adapters on there and we don't even know it.

There is another option for your 2010 Scion xB the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # DM9518249, if you decided to go with this base plate you will not need to purchase the adapters as they are both Demco parts. Both of the base plates that I mentioned do not work if your Scion has fog lights as they mount in the same spot.

Are you new to the flat tow world, or are you a seasoned flat tower? I attached a great help article on flat towing, seasoned or not it is still a good read. If you would like recommendations for wiring or any of the other flat tow component, just say the word I am here to try to make your life easier =)

Hey Michael, how did things go pairing the Roadmaster base plate with your Demco Commander tow bar on your Scion xB? Your setup could really help others trying to match those parts. Sharing what worked might guide someone else with a similar flat tow build.
