Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2016 Honda CR-V using a Motorcycle Carrier

Question:

Hello, looking for hitch for 2016 Honda Crv lx Awd 2.4 l engine. looking to install a motorcycle carrier Black Widow SMC-600R weight is 97 lbs. will have a 2002 Honda shadow 600c on carrier weight of motorcycle is 452 lbs. could you recommend the best hitch for this situation thanks R. Johnson

Hey Robert, sweet ride! My buddy also had a Shadow that he painted black and he chopped the pipes, it was pretty cool. But for a hitch I'd suggest going with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75742.

This hitch has a nice, beefy, 675 lb tongue weight capacity which is going to be plenty for your carrier and your bike. This hitch also has a nice 4,500 lb capacity which is also great incase you ever found yourself wanting to tow a small trailer in the future.
