Hey Terry!
According to page 318 of the manual, you can flat tow your 2024 GMC Canyon as long as it has the Two-Speed transfer case.
If you do have the Two-Speed transfer case, then I recommend going with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM48GR and pairing it with the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676. This is easily my favorite flat towing combination because of how easy it is to connect the tow bar, and the bas has lights on it so drivers can clearly tell you're flat towing (and it doesn't look like you have a tailgater following you).
I'm attaching photos of this base plate kit as well as the tow bar paired up with a 2024 Canyon you can check out as a reference to what your setup will look like. Please keep in mind that you'll also need some additional parts (like wiring and brake activation) in order to have a complete flat towing setup. Let me know if you need the other parts and I'll be happy to add them to a list for you!
