Do All Hitches for 2024 Honda Prologue Require Frame Hole Enlargement

Question:
Hello. I Hope you can help me. I’m looking to lease a 2024 Honda prologue and I need to install a trailer hitch to carry my mountain bike. I can drill into frame under lease. I read some of the comments and it appears the tie down holes need to be enlarged to install rack. Is that correct?

Hey Mike, so all of the hitches that fit your 2024 Honda Prologue like the Curt # C89RV are going to require enlarging the holes of the frame to install. I don't think you'd get in trouble with your lease for doing this but you might check to be sure.

Hey Mike, how did things go with the hitch install on your Honda Prologue? Were you able to enlarge the tie-down holes without any issues? Your update could make it easier for others with leased vehicles to decide what works best.
