Does Draw Tite Hitch that Fits 2024 Honda Prologue Have Better Ground Clearance Than OEM

Question:

Is there any information about how this hitch compares to the OEM hitch sold by Honda? Specifically, I’m wondering if there is a difference in heights from the ground between the two and if the rear trim piece sold by Honda would be compatible with this hitch to eliminate the need for trimming and give a cleaner look when finished. This would be for a 2024 Honda Prologue Touring.

Hey JD, the Draw Tite hitch part # DT38KV that you referenced will not have as good of ground clearance as the OEM hitch that fits your 2024 Honda Prologue Touring. Reason is that this hitch hangs below the rear bumper and the OEM hitch comes through it. That means the OEM rear access panel wouldn't work with this hitch.

That said this hitch costs considerably less than the OEM hitch...
