Will Adding Trailer Hitch to 2024 Buick Envista Void Warranty

Question:
My Buick 2024 in vista st says there is no towing information yet it has predrilled holes and there seem to be a trailer hitch made for this car. And the if I put on a hitch will it void my warranty.

Hi Richard,
Nope, adding a trailer hitch to your 2024 Buick Envista will not void your warranty because you are protected by what is called the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This act says if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever you have added to your vehicle or its installation actually caused the problem in question.
The correct fit for your '24 Envista is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C75VV.
