Etrailer was the site I found my 1st hitch, for a 2016 Equinox. Now I find that they also have a hitch for my 2024 2nd Gen Chevy Trax.
Great customer service with keeping me informed of shipping and delivery info. I will be using an installer - one is just a mile or so away! As a 75 YO, it is hard to dfo things like install a hitch, but if I had not moved into an apartment, I would have had everything to install it myself. Install looks a lot easier than my Equinox install was. 4 bolts and a bit of fishing the connections into the 4 attachment points on the frame rail.
Installed myself although it'd be easier with 2 people . Use it for our E-bikes and a extra cargo rack

Good hitch, no problems, I'll share what I learned. For the sealant/caulking that has to be trimmed, take a razor knife and score it in a straight line about a 1/2 inch up and then you can peel it away using a flat razor scraper like you would for an old inspection sticker. The install is definitely easier with ramps or a lift and two people. I had ramps and my wife who is a saint. Start on the exhaust side. You do have to finagle it past the exhaust pipe. When you're snaking the rear backing plates through try to orient them so that the longer side is facing the front of the car. They won't allow the bolt to pull through straight if they are not orientated correctly. I wish I had taken pictures. Hope it helps.

Love the hitch. The shipping out to me was quick. The packaging was horrible. The hitch was all scratched up. I’m sure it going to rust in those spots. I don’t blame you guys I blame the packaging and the shipping company.
I'm 62 years old, it took me about 20 minutes to install by myself with no jack.

Easy installation everything was perfect. I have no intention to tow with this little car. This is a 2024 TRAX. I bought the hitch for a bike rack or a luggage carrier. Also, it gives good protection to the back of the car. I’m very happy with it.

Easy installation, no issues. Good purchase experience through etrailer as always.
One side did not fit perfectly flush as you would expect, but I’m only carrying bicycles , I’ll retorque it after a week and see how it is , otherwise nice construction, finish .
I used four 1/2” x 1” 1/2” bolts from the opposite direction to hold the hitch in place, then fished the correct bolt in one at a time, save me from wrestling the hitch and aligning the fish wires at the same time, work smarter not harder!!!
The Buick Envista is not really a towing car but I needed the hitch for a bike rack and a kayak trailer. It’s perfect and the install was easy.
Very easy install. Love the way that this hitch is mainly hidden.

Box had a hole in it from transportation one of the mounting brackets was scuffed up but pretty easy to put together and simple to understand instructions
I like the hitch. It wasn’t too difficult to install. It took me about two hours.
The install is pretty easy and doable with one person if you have a floor jack to assist in lifting the tow hitch in place.

Easy install, the instructions were very clear. Due to the shape of the rear bumper on the trax, the hitch looks obviously aftermarket. It is very visible and low to ground. BUt for the price I can't complain.
Fit perfectly. Had problems using the fishing line on rear holes but worked in the end. Good to be able to tow small trailer with my Chevy Trax.

What sort of issues did you have? I bet there are others out there that might be facing the same problem. Can I bother a little more and ask you what worked for you to fix it?
The product is extremely well made & has a great finish, instructions were spot on, it took me a little over an hour to install by myself & the customer service people at etrailer are super knowledgeable & pleasant to talk with
Very happy with the purchase and delivery. I use to work in a shop that did professional hitch installations so installing was a piece of cake. I'm sure someone with no experience could install this without any problems as long as they followed the directions. I never give 5 stars as I believe there is always room for improvement
Had some trouble with 1 mounting bolt. Would come thru frame hole far enough to attach nut. Had to remove anti- spin plate that goes inside frame and use longer replacement bolt

I have an Aventon Level 3 step through bike that weighs 67 Lb with battery. This hitch is more than sturdy enough for my bike. The local installer did a great job getting this rack on my car, even though the fisshing wires were the wrong size for the bolts.
