Hello L; to flat tow your 2026 Chevy Trax you will need a tow bar, base plate kit, safety cables, wiring, and a supplemental brake system. I recommend the following:
-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM25EQ

-Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables # RM-674
-Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage Incandescent Tail Lights # RM26FR
-Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System # RM-766
-Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System # RVI94FR (includes charge line)
You may also need a high-low adapter like the etrailer High-Low Adjustable Adapter for Tow Bars # e52ZV. I linked an article further down on this page which explains how to measure and choose the right adapter.
