A 2" x 2" receiver gives you access to the most common towing and accessory options out there. Haul a small camper, mount a cargo carrier, or hook up a bike rack for your next ride. With a 2,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 200-lb maximum tongue weight, this hitch is built for light hauling and weekend gear runs. The Class III rating makes it strong enough for regular use without overdoing it.
This hitch is made from sturdy, fully welded steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat layered over a protective base coat. That combination keeps rust and corrosion in check while adding a clean, finished look. The round-tube design gives it a bit of style without standing out too much under the bumper.
You don’t need to weld or drill to get this hitch mounted. It bolts directly to the frame using the included hardware and lines up with precision, robotic-welded holes for an exact fit. Most folks can handle installation in their own driveway with basic tools—no special equipment or trimming required.
Once installed, this hitch sits solid and stays out of the way until you need it. The concealed cross tube keeps things looking tidy, while the strong steel build means it’s ready whenever you want to tow, haul, or carry gear. Just attach a ball mount, pin, and clip—sold separately—and you’re good to go.

This little project of installing hitch on the car could not have gone much better then it did. Took me a little extra time threading bolts through the frame holes but not complaining a bit .I was done with it a lot faster then I thought I would be. Great fit when finished.
2023 Buick Envision ST. I did not have to remove muffler brackets. Jockey hitch into position coming in above tail pipes and up to frame with bolts ready. Insert bolt guide wires before getting too close. Jacking up car in back can help with clearance, but I didn't need to. Use floor jack to hold hitch if doing it by yourself. Note, if you need to remove muffle brackets you must turn 15mm bolt heads. The nuts are more accessible but welded on.

A friend recommended etrailer when I mentioned the need for a receiver from my 21 Buick Envision. I found this model, mainly to hold a bike rack, and it was a perfect fit for the vehicle.
The instruction video had my model Envision and it went together step by step like instructed.
One note, I did the install by myself, which wasn't bad at all, but found using a floor jack, to raise and lower as needed, was very helpful! Be safe and be sure to strap the receiver to the jack for safety.

Its been a year and the receiver, as well as the rack I purchased from etrailer.com, perform like brand new. Bolts stayed tight, after a few inspections, and zero rust showing up. Getting ready to upgrade cars so Ill be in the market for another one soon and Ill go with Curt and Hollywood from etrailer.com.

Easy install and very quick
Definitely takes two PATIENT people. Did NOT have to release the muffler supports as shown in the video. The wire fish process worked great once I had a full understanding of how to do it. The printed instructions are somewhat confusing but again, the videos saved us. When I called for clarification on the fish wire process, the person answering the phone was not very knowledgeable but she was polite and patient with trying to get the info I needed. It seems the person I needed was not available so they sent me a video that was somewhat helpful. Luckily my son found a video that was more informative and we got it done.

Looks great John! What are your plans for the cargo carrier?
Fits well. I installed it by myself in 3 hours. I did use car ramps to get under it better. But easy to install once I got it were I could work on it.
Great solid hitch and great innovation on using fishing wire to thread the bolts!!! Took less than 30 minutes to install. Would recommend using a lift if you have one otherwise on the ground is doable!!
Just as advertised…installation in 20 minutes…directions were simple and easy to understand…and the fishing wires were great.

This hitch receiver went on my 2024 Buick Envision with ease. My husband and I installed this ourself in about an hour. Having the correct long socket and extension was the key to being able to install yourself.
Very easy to install. I like how close to bumper it sits as it makes it look like came from car factory. Plan to use it for our kayak. The wood in the photo was juat to check level bwtween front roof rack cross bar and the t-bar hitch extender.

Installation was quite easy. Just followed the video instructions and there were no problems. It looks good and blends right in with the trim of my 2025 Envision. The Hitch is perfect for towing a small trailer with riding lawn mower onboard.
