AM32253DX Wheel - What Is The Diameter Of The Flat Flange The Bolt Pattern Is On?

Question:

Hi, I am looking at the AM32253DX tire and wheel. What is the diameter of the flat flange that the bolt pattern is on? Im looking for the maximum diameter of hub that can interface with the wheel at the bolt flange without interfering with the lip of the wheel. Thanks

Hello again Jordan. I went and measured the # AM32253DX wheel. The flat flange the bolt pattern is on is 5-7/8" in diameter so that would be the maximum diameter of the hub face.

Jesse, Thanks for your continued help. Could you tell me how deep the 5 7/8" section is? How far from the flange would a 7.375" hub need to be offset in order to fit? Thanks again, Jordan

@Jordan This wheel has zero offset, so the 5 7/8" section is perfectly centered on the wheel. The wheel is 5" wide overall so it would be 2.5" from this section to the edge of the wheel or like 3-3/4" to the edge of the tire.

@JesseM In the pictures of the wheel, there appears to be a ridge around the flat flange for wheel mounting. I'm looking for the height of this boss from the wheel flange. The thickness of the wheel appears to reduce once radially past the bump out. Is that correct?

@Jordan Im gonna be honest you are starting to lose me a little bit here, Jordan. There is a raised ridge around the 5-7/8" section. The ridge sticks up about 0.20-0.25" but it is really hard to get a concrete accurate measurement for that. All of the wheel seems to be the same thickness which is also about 1/4". This is a pretty standard 5 on 5 wheel with no offset so as long as your hubs are also 5 on 5 and your trailer is not designed around offset wheels you can be pretty certain this wheel will work for you.
