The wheel’s 5 on 5" bolt pattern, 3.19" pilot diameter, and 1/2"-20 wheel bolts make installation straightforward. With zero offset and a balanced design, it mounts up easily and centers true every time. If you’re refreshing older hardware, those exact specs take the guesswork out of matching what you already have.
A range of trailer tires fit this wheel width, including ST205/75R15 and ST225/75R15 sizes noted in expert recommendations. The 15" diameter gives you plenty of tire options so you can match your setup for the load rating or ride quality you need without having to change other parts.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexstar 15 inch by five inch white spoke steel trailer wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern. Now, this wheel's a sturdy steel construction. It is an eight spoke design wheel and it gives you excellent corrosion resistance 'cause they use a two-step finishing process, which will include first an eco primer and then a white powder coat finish. Now the wheel is a high quality wheel. Does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications.
Now if you notice the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separate on our website. When you get a center cap, you do want it to have the same diameter as this pilot hole, 'cause when you install your center cap it'll go through the hole here. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches. This wheel is made in the USA.
Few dimensions I wanna give you and show you where to measure. We're gonna measure the diameter. And on a wheel when you measure the diameter, it's always inside to inside. In other words, when the tire's mounted on here, the tire's bead is gonna seat right in here. So basically when you're measuring the diameter, it's inside to inside.
So you can see if we take our tape measure and if we go straight across, there's your 15-inch diameter. The width is gonna be the same way. You're measuring inside to inside, or bead seed to bead seed. And there's your five-inch width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is like five on five inch bolt pattern.
And if you wanted to measure that on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs. Like in this case, five. What you'll wanna do is pick any one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So if we put a ruler on this, that'll measure five inches. So that means it's a five on five inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,150 pounds. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Dexstar 15 inch by five inch white spoke steel trailer wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern.

WheelRim remains in great condition especially having been exposed daily to severe weather conditions. I feel secure when carrying heavy loads seeing how well the rim is holding up
