When you’re towing heavy gear day in and day out, you need hardware that won’t flinch under pressure. This 15" x 5" steel wheel is rated for 2,150 lbs and meets DOT standards for strength and safety. It’s a sturdy setup built to keep your trailer rolling straight and true on every trip.
Moisture, road grime, and salt can eat through cheaper wheels fast. This one uses a 2-step finishing process that starts with an e-coat primer and is topped with a white powder coat layer to lock out corrosion. The result is clean looks that stay that way, season after season, without constant touch-ups.
Getting the right fit shouldn’t be a guessing game. This wheel uses the common 5 on 5 bolt pattern, a 3.19" pilot diameter, and a 0 offset for straightforward mounting. The wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, so you can match hardware confidently and know your setup is properly centered and balanced.
The Mini Mod design isn’t just about looks—it’s about functional strength in a proven layout. The modular cutouts help keep weight down while maintaining rigidity across the rim face. It’s a classic, durable design that’s easy to clean and ready for long-term use on the road or in storage.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexstar 15 inch x 5 inch white modular steel trailer wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern. Now this wheel's a sturdy steel construction and we mentioned it's a modular design. Modular design we mean it's the one that has the round holes all the way around the wheel. This wheel does have excellent corrosion resistance. It does a two step finishing process, which first includes an E-coat primer, and then a white powder coat finish on the wheel.
This wheel is a high quality wheel. Does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications, and if you notice, the wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as the pilot hole here 'cause when you install that center cap, it will fit through this hole. The pilot hole diameter right here is 3.19 inches.
Now this wheel is made by Dexstar which means it is made in the USA. We're gonna measure a few dimensions, the diameter and the width on the wheel. And when you measure the diameter, what you're gonna measure is inside the inside. And basically what you're measuring is when a tire's installed, the tire bead seat is gonna sit right in here. So what you're measuring is bead seat to bead seat, so the inside to inside.
So if we put a tape measure on that, you can see there's your 15 inch diameter. And when you measure the width, it's gonna be the same way. You're measuring bead seat to bead seat or inside to inside, and there's your 5 inch width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on five inch bolt pattern. And if you need to measure the bolt pattern on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, like in this case five.
What you need to do is first pick any hole, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes, but when you measure it from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this one, if we measure, it'd be five inches. So it means it's a five on five inch bolt pattern. It does have a wheel lug size of a 1/2 inch x 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds. But that should do it for a look at the Dexstar 15 inch x 5 inch white modular steel trailer wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern.

Ratings & Reviews
I wanted a rim with higher load rating . This is the only one I could find that could do the job.
Excellent products and service, Thanks I’ll be back .
I needed a spare wheel for my trailer, and this one is perfect. It's an exact match to what is on the trailer, maybe even heavier construction than the other wheels.
Fits good, the only thing I’m not happy with is the backspacing is 1/4 of an inch off , but since my trailer is a 99 I’m not surprised at backspacing has changed a little bit over the years.
These wheels only have about 100 miles on them but I like the looks of them and the service I received from etrailer was outstanding. They are on my favorites list.
Delivered promptly as scheduled
I want to thank etrailer for selling not just a well made wheel at a great price, but also for selling a wheel made in the U.S.A.!!!!! I needed this wheel to replace an old & damaged trailer wheel and the information on the etrailer website allowed me to easily and correctly determine the right hole pattern. I also received the wheel quickly with only standard UPS shipping.
Very well priced and was delivered quick
good wheels, good price, got them fast, look great on my old trailer!
These 15" trailer rims with the 5 on 5" bolt pattern (Chevrolet style, vs the standard Ford style rims on most trailers) Would have liked to find them in Galvanized, but NOBODY has them in Galvanized. Plan to paint with Coal Tar epoxy for Rust protection (live on the coast near salt water- everything rusts!). Standard Truck rims have the wrong offset, and don't fit my trailer for replacements and spares. These were available, Price was as reasonable, and Shipping was fast. Expect to use them soon.
Nice price, package well, came on time.
Rims & 1 tire with free shipping, came quick and was packaged and delivered better than anything I have received from any other mail order business. Great system and employees that make it happen. Can't wait for my next order to be shipped.

Great
They came really fast got them swapped out and mounting them now thanks
Nice rims. Powder coating looks pretty rigid like it might last. Thicker gauge steel for the rims than Taskmaster. Worth the money. Should last for years.
I went by the sites application and it was not correct, said I needed the 5inch spread but my camper takes the 4.5 inch spread.. Now it cost me $[XX] to return the wrong one and shipping again for the correct one. Site should have said to check spread before ordering.
I had been wanting to replace my trailer rims. I shopped around and found the perfect rims at a very reasonable price on Etrailer.com. I had new tires mounted and finally replaced my trailer rims and tires. They were perfect!!
They fit perfect. Thanks
Came on time well packaged and looks just lovely ke the other two I bought from a tire store except those were $ 92 a piece plus tax.
I always like using etrailer and will continue.
We had a great experience with this company in helping us get the right wheel for our trailer
5 on 5 is an uncommon bolt pattern for trailers but this place has them. Have not mounted tires yet but they fit my old trailer great in the test fit, even the hub bore is snug but not too tight
All looks and fits good.
The rims, axle and hub assembly are working out just fabulous. I was impressed that they sent extra metal grease caps on the hub assembly. I am glad they did because one of the ones that was already on the hub assembly must have been damaged during shipment. The one time I needed a question answered on if i was ordering the correct components they were very helpful and answered all my questions
Dexstar made by Kenda is cheap import claimed to be Made in the US. The powder coat is sprinkled on and some places do not have any of it. Welded joints will corrode in no time. With 40 years of experience in autobody repairs I had a heck of a time to take off some nasty labels slapped on the rims. I gave 2 stars for the thicker steel material only. Dexstar = a declining brand.
Bought this for a spare tire on my 16 foot car trailer. Bolt pattern matched right up and the 10 ply tire mounted without issue
We can depend on etrailer for white trailer rims. Most of our trailer fleet have white rims and they are hard to find at the local trailer stores but we can always depend on etrailer and quick delivery within 3 days or so.
