Correct TorkLift GlowStep for 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2970RL

Question:
Need a set of TorkLift steps for my 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2970RL. Solid steps just do not extend far enough on less than level sites.

Hi Spike; I have heard that complaint before and other trailer owners have said the TorkLift GlowStep is a great solution for many of the issues your steps have with terrain. To find the right set of steps for your 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2970RL you need to take some measurements. Measure from the top of the sill plate to the ground and then measure between the door frame flanges.
The # TLA9005 you looked at is designed for 28" doorways with an entry height of 34-7/8" - 42-3/8". I went ahead and attached a chart below which shows all of the measurements with the appropriate step part number. If the # TLA9005 doesn't match your measurements you can use the chart to find the correct steps for your Grand Design Imagine.

Hey Spike, did you get a chance to take those sill plate and doorway measurements for your Grand Design Imagine? Once you had them, were you able to confirm if the TorkLift GlowStep set you looked at was the right fit? Your update could make it easier for others checking step options for uneven sites.
