Can I Use an Aries Grille Guard with My Roadmaster Base Plate

Road master direct connect plates for flat tow with E Trailer SD Package mounted on a 2021 2 door Rubicon JL. Will this bolt on Aeries P1053 Grill guard interfere with the Road Master tow plates? Thanks

Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the Aries Pro Series Grille Guard with Mesh LED Cover Plate - Textured Black Powder Coated Steel # AAP1053 with your Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521453-5. I do not know of any grille guards that will work with your baseplate as most of them install at the same spots as the baseplate, and if they don't the grille guard is in the way of the tow bar connection.

Hey J P, were you able to find a setup that worked for your Rubicon after learning the Aries grille guard wouldn’t fit with the Roadmaster base plate? Knowing what you ended up using could help others trying to flat tow with a similar setup.
