Will The Draw-Tite DT42MR Fit 2023 Acura MDX Technology With 20" Full Size Spare?

Will this hitch fit our new 2025 Acura MDX technology with 20 inch tires spare?. Etailer already explained the eTrailer and Curt models wont fit. If not, anything you can recommend?

Hey Ralph, thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to say that the Draw-Tite # DT42MR will NOT fit with the full size 20" spare tire on your 2025 Acura MDX. Basically all of the hitches for the 2025 MDX, the etrailer # e27KR, Curt # C22HR, and Draw-Tite # DT42MR are structurally identical so it will be the same case for every hitch. The side flanges and cross tube of the hitches simply don't allow room for the full size spare.
If you need to carry cargo with your MDX an alternative solution could be a roof rack like the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack # TH67QG along with a suitable roof mounted carrier for your gear. Let me know what you are needing to carry and I am happy to look into it and see if we have any options for you.

Hey Ralph, what did you end up doing for cargo space on your MDX since the hitches wouldn’t clear the full-size spare? Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup to find a good option.
