Comparing The Timbren # TNRTTNB And # TNRTTN For A 2024 Nissan Titan SV

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/04/2024

Question:

I have a 2024 Nissan Titan crew cab SV 4WD. Im wanting to purchase the correct bump stop for the truck. My truck has the bump stop attached to the top bracket not the plate on the spring. The 2 kits that Im looking at is the TNRTTNB and the TNRTTN, I need to know the height of the bump stops and the screw size on the TNRTTNB.

Hey Mitchell,

The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TNRTTNB is designed specifically for Pro 4x models so it wouldn't be the right fit for your SV. Both the # TNRTTNB and # TNRTTN (which would be a fit for your SV) have 5" tall springs. The # TNRTTNB uses HCS M8 x 50 x 1.25 Grade 8.8 zinc coated bolts and the # TNRTTN uses HCS M10 x 40 x 1.5 Grade 8.8 zinc coated bolts.

These both have a 6,000lb capacity and will make a significant difference to your unloaded ride quality. I personally recommend going with a lower capacity option like the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS95GR, which has a 1,500lb capacity rating. Your Titan's payload capacity should be within 1,350 and 2,360lbs so 6,000lb springs would be overkill and give you a harsh unloaded ride quality.

Hey Mitchell, how did things turn out with the rear suspension on your Titan? Did the SumoSprings end up giving you a smoother unloaded ride? Your update could make it easier for others choosing between these kits.
