Question:
Ive added a 600 pound pop-up camper to my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited 4x4 factory air ride, 64inch bed, and as a result am considering adding the SumoSprings. Im not sure whether to get the part SSR-307-40 or the heavier SSR-307-47. I probably carry an additional 300 pounds of gear on average. My stock truck ride is manageable but I dont like how much it tends to sway. What is your advice please?

Hey Chip! If you're dealing with that much sway, I would recommend a weight distribution system not one of the SumoSpring systems. I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control item # FA92-00-0450. This system is built for smaller trailers like yours and works with tongue weights up to 450 lbs. With the weight of your trailer and gear combined this would definitely get that sway under control.
Since you already have factory air ride and it's not helping your sway issues throwing on one of the item # SSR-307-40 or item # SSR-307-47 isn't going to help the situation. You need a mechanical system that is going to force your trailer to stay in line with your truck which is why I recommended the item # FA92-00-0450.
This system does not include a hitch ball. Depending on your coupler size you will either need a 2" Hitch Ball item # A-90 or a 2-5/16" hitch ball item # C40030.
I have linked a faq article below about weight distribution systems.

Thanks very much for the reply Jerrod, I appreciate it. But I don't have a trailer, I have a bed-rail camper shell with pop-up. With my longer 6 foot 4 inch bed (not "64" inch), the camper itself is about 600 lbs, plus about 300 lbs gear, plus myself (200 lbs) and sometimes another person for a total payload of about 1,300 lbs. So I still have the same question about the SumoSprings. I'm not sure whether to get the part SSR-307-40 or the heavier SSR-307-47.
