Availability of Ladder Rack Compatible With Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for 2024 Toyota Tacoma

Hi, Im looking for a truck bed rack that can fit with a tri-fold tonneau cover on a 2024 Tacoma, Off-Road, shortbed. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Rusty; none of the available ladder racks for your 2024 Tacoma with a 5' bed can accommodate your tonneau cover. All of them mount inside the bed rails which would interfere with any tonneau cover design. The only way to have both is to install a tonneau cover like the Pace Edwards UltraGroove # 311-KRTA10A38. This has rails with integrated T-slots which would allow you to mount the TruXedo Elevate Rack # TX84NV.
If you were wanting to use the Kuat Ibex Customizable Overland Truck Bed Rack # KU29ZR you were looking at that is also possible. The same tonneau cover would be required, along with a Kuat adapter for the UltraGroove. We don't have the adapter at this time but I can add it to our site if you want to go this route. All you need to do is let me know in the comments below.

Hey Rusty, did you decide to go with the Pace Edwards UltraGroove cover and the Kuat Ibex rack for your Tacoma? Your setup could really help others trying to keep a tonneau cover and rack together on a short bed. Sharing what worked might point them in the right direction.
