Hey Don, thanks for the information! Since your 2001 Jeep Wrangler has the factory bumper you'll want to use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1120. This base plate attaches directly to your Jeep's frame with included hardware. The mounting points and safety chain loops for the tow bar stick out right below the bumper.
Here are the rest of the parts you will need to flat tow your 2001 Jeep Wrangler:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e47ZR
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # BLU37TR
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
I have linked several installation videos below so you can see how to get these parts set up. If you have any additional questions feel free to reach out to me directly or place them in the comment box below.

Hey Don, how did things go getting the Blue Ox base plate set up on your Jeep Wrangler? Were the mounting points and safety chain loops easy to line up under the bumper? Your feedback could really help others planning a similar flat tow setup.
